We have a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaner to join our Exeter Racecourse Team providing the overall day to day responsibility for all cleaning across the racecourse, preparing the racecourse, internally and externally, before racing and events to a high standard

The Cleaner will
• Maintain high standard of cleaning and hygiene in all areas, both internally and externally.This will include areas such as, conference rooms, toilets, offices, and the weighing room.
• Work alongside the Porter after events to ensure all used areas are cleaned, returning facilities to a high standard of cleanliness for the next function or raceday.
• Control the stock of all cleaning materials and toilet consumables for the site and to ensure orders are placed with the office team as required.
• Report any faults or defects found on site to the office time within a timely manner for them to be resolved.
• Assist the Porter in ensuring the site is secure before leaving at the end of the day.
• Support in turning off all lighting and unnecessary equipment at the end of the day to assist with reducing energy costs.
About you
• Previous Experience working as a cleaner.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• A good working knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures
